Bring the whole family....

Farm Fest and the famous Silent Auction is coming to North Oaks at the Hill Farm Historical Site on Red Barn Road!!

Enjoy food from the grill, beer from a keg, wine in a cup, music from a bluegrass band and a Farmer's Market.
For the kids there  is a petting zoo, pony rides, games and inflatables, an opportunity to milk a cow, and make butter.  Visit the blacksmith working at the fired up forge, tour the buildings to learn all about James J. Hill’s large farm and how it contributed to the building of the Great Northern Railway from St. Paul to the West coast.
See how the DeLaval separator (the first one in Minnesota) shortened the process of separating the cream from milk, from 24 hours to only minutes, how the Dairy building was air conditioned, the machines that processed farm grown crops, and a scale model of the 35 buildings that existed on the farm.

The Silent Auction offers items only available at Hill Farm - framed pictures of original oil paintings, and an opportunity to attend a special evening at the Hill House on Summit Avenue.  Bid on sports tickets, award winning bottles of wine, special movie/TV baskets for boys, girls and adults, gift certificates for restaurants, grocery stores, theaters and amusement parks, services for automobiles, and home maintenance.  Each year there is something new and exciting to bid on.
