Contribute, Volunteer and Bid at the Farm Fest Silent Auction

The Hill Farm Historical Society’s Farm Fest is an afternoon of family fun with food, games, a petting zoo, historic building tours and a big silent auction made possible by local businesses and residents who provide items and opportunities found only at Farm Fest’s silent auction. Promote your business by offering a gift certificate for your products or services, such as food, beauty, automobile, clothing, artistic creations or other services. Sports tickets, rounds of golf, food and wine baskets for special occasions create a lot of interest in bidding. Or do you have a unique offer that will excite auction bidders? All contributors will be recognized in the North Oaks News.

Income from the silent auction is a primary and major source of income for the Hill Farm Historical Society that enables HFHS to carry on its mission of preserving the history of James J. Hill’s North Oaks Farm. As HFHS is a 501c3 nonprofit, all contributions to the silent auction are tax deductible.

Calling All Middle and High School Students

Do you belong to a group (such as Scouts, National Honor Society, etc.) that requires volunteer and/or community service hours? If so, Farm Fest is a great opportunity to make a dent in those required hours. Volunteers are needed for 2-, 3- and 4-hour shifts between 3 and 7 p.m. All middle and high school student volunteers will receive service hour credits as well as tickets to use for food or other fun events at Farm Fest.
